Qualifications in Education:
Development Assistant
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD and Ex-Servicemen candidates) in aggregate or equivalent qualification from a recognised University / Institution established by an Act of the Central or State Legislatures in India, or any other Educational Institution
Under Section-3 of the UGC Act, 1956, an institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed a university is defined as a university.
Development Assistant (Hindi)
Bachelor’s degree in English/Hindi medium from a recognised university with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects and a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD/EXS candidates) in the aggregate OR Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi and English as main subjects with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD/EXS candidates) in the aggregate
The candidate must be proficient in translating from English to Hindi and vice versa.
Age Limit:
21 to 35 years old (Candidates born between September 2, 1987, and September 1, 2001 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply)
Relaxation:
5 years for SC/ST
3 years for OBC
PWD: ten years (GEN), thirteen years (OBC), and fifteen years (SC/ST).

NABARD Recruitment – Selection Process:
- The selection process will be divided into three stages: preliminary (Phase-I), main exam (Phase-II), both of which will be online examinations, and interview (Phase III)
- The Preliminary Examination is only for qualifying purposes and serves as a screening test.
- Candidates who qualify and rank sufficiently high as determined by NABARD will be invited to take the Main Examination.
- In Phases I and II, a quarter of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty for each incorrect answer marked.

III. Language Proficiency Examination:
Those who qualify for selection and have passed the 10th or 12th standard with the declared language as one of the subjects will not be subjected to the Language Proficiency Test, but must provide valid proof (i.e., marksheet for class X/XII with the specified Language as Subject). In the case of others (qualified for selection), the language proficiency test will be held at the Regional Office of the concerned State after the results of the Main Examination are announced.
