• Utilizing the pertinent Credit Risk Policies and Guidelines, evaluate WM requests for credit for both personal and professional use. 

• Calculate cash flow and balance sheet ratios by looking at financial accounts for both individuals and businesses/entities, as well as information from the public domain, personal credit reports, and other pertinent sources. 

• To meet Basel Ill standards for regulatory risk grading requirements, use these ratios and other qualitative factors to assess a client’s risk of default using the J.P. Morgan Wholesale Risk Grading Methodology. 

• To calculate the probable loss in the event of default, do an analysis of the collateral and/or loan covenants/events of default. 

• Determine independently and concisely any risks and mitigating circumstances that might affect the client’s capacity to repay the loan. 

• Offer a line of action with a brief and clear justification. 

• Recognize and express the geopolitical risks and jurisdictional concerns that affect our domestic and international clients. 

• Talk frequently with the front office to get the details you need to decide whether to grant the loan. When necessary, negotiate the loan’s structure and terms; other alternatives will be offered as needed.
