For the purpose of filling vacancies in the Grade “B” and “C” category in various Government Ministries, Departments, and Offices, the (SSC) Staff Selection Commission administers the SSC CGL Exam. The SSC CGL exam is administered in two different phases, or Tiers. Through the SSC’s official website, the full registration and communication procedure takes place online. Before being ultimately chosen, all candidates must pass each stage of the SSC CGL exam in order to move further on to the process. The SSC CGL 2023 Tier 1 Exam will be held from July 13 through July 27, 2023. On April 3, 2023, the official SSC CGL Notification 2023 was made public in order to fill 7500 positions.

Fee for SSC CGL 2023 Applications: Rs. 100 is the needed amount.

• Exemption: Female, SC, ST, physically handicapped, and ex-serviceman applicants are not obliged to pay a fee.
• The one and only way to pay the application cost is through SBI, either by challan, SBI Net Banking, or with any other bank’s Credit/Debit Card. Online-generated Challan forms will be used.
• After completing Part-1 registration process, the candidate should print off the challan created online on the page in order to make a cash payment. Continue with the Part-2 registration after paying the desired amount in any SBI branch.
• After completing the part-1 registration process, candidates who wish to make their payments online can proceed directly to part-2 registration. Also The applicant must provide their registration number and birthdate.

SSC CGL 2023 Exam Pattern

Along with the SSC CGL Notification 2023, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) updated the Combined Graduate Level Exam pattern. The Exam will be split into two sections, as shown below:

• Tier – I (Qualifying)- Objective Multiple Choice
• Tier – II (Paper I, II, III) – Paper I (required for all the positions), Paper II for applicants seeking the post Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) positions with the Ministry of Statistics and also Program Implementation, and Paper III for applicants seeking Assistant Audit Officer or Assistant Accounts Officer positions.
• Except for Module II in Section III of Paper I, all questions are of the objective type and are multiple choice.
