Sify Recruitment 2022 – Job Description

• You will Complete Management of Storage, Backup, etc.
• Need to implement the back-up plan for storing and retrieving data.
• You will be Responsible for resolving the real time (RT) requests raised by the company’s users as per SLA.
• You will manage the roles assigned in accordance with the Client Information Security Policies.
• You Should report security events or have to work on potential events or other security risks to the Client.
• Should have exposure of SAN System (Storage Management Software, Performance tuning, Volume configuration), backup system along with the capability of SAN  System Monitoring, Fabric Monitoring, Report generation, First call handling, and Backup and Recovery practices in the Data Center Environment and also should have intermediate skills and should have exposure to the DR practices.
• Also need to Ensure timely availability of storage space to User Departments.
• You need to Handle Incidents, changes related to storage, backup equipment, as per Client policy, procedure.

Sify Recruitment 2022 – Roles and Responsibilities

• Highly Responsible for Configuration management and also work on capacity management of storage, backup equipment.
• Responsible for preparing and maintaining SOP, different reports for storage, backup equipment.
• Periodically review necessary policy, procedure for storage, backup, restoration,library, media disposal for maintaining and improving their relevance. 
• Planning, implementing, monitoring and maintaining storage, and their protection. With the Implementing and maintaining media libraries as per Client procedures.
• You will be Implementing and maintaining secure disposal of media and also equipment as per Client procedures.
• Highly Responsible for back up data according to scheme schedule.
• Implementing and maintaining data restoration as per Client procedures schedule. 
• Configure zoning on SAN switch. Creation of LUN on storage and allocate to users.
• You will be Performing Online Backup and Restoration at regular intervals.
• You will Restore data through the Net vault backup tool.
• Performing Daily, Weekly backups and Restoration in Tape Drive using Net Vault.
• Coordinating with company’s System Team, Network Team, NOC team and Different Client
• You will Media insert and label on the tape library.
• You will Troubleshooting the issues with Netapp Storage.

Sify Recruitment 2022 – Eligibility Criteria

• Have Experience developing server-side Java applications and looking into scale with memory leak and performance issues 
• Have strong Experience in the JVM thread dumps, heap dumps, jmap 
• Can have Developing application using the JEE framework 
• Must have Good knowledge of concurrency and synchronization issues in a multithreaded and multiprocessor environment 
• Possess Strong understanding of design issues related to software abstraction and also componentization versus system performance. 
• Have basic Knowledge of network management concepts and basic protocols (e.g. NetConf,ReST) 
• Have Solid understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design
